Happy Birthday Severus!






One of my favorite characters:) Although I must admit I do like much of Fandom Snape better then the original after the last book.

To celebrate I decided to post a photo I took. I got a new digital camera for Christmas (so I don't have to always lug my huge Canon 20D around and can take more photos) (Canon G9 in case you're interested) and I've been messing with the macro mode. I took some photos of some of my HP stuff, including my Snape action figure. However, the macro seemed to make all the painting brush strokes and imperfections show, because it was so close. But one of the photos that I screwed up was dark and somewhat blurry, but (I thought) it looked really cool artwise like that so I turned it black and white and this is what I got:

I'm sure I'll be posting more soon, like my mini DE mask and my Lucius cane (yay!). And yes I know I'm a dork with the things I take photos of sometimes lol.

Happy Halloween everybody:) Hope you had fun. I decided since I had robes and don't have enough places to wear them that I would dress up as Ginny to give out candy. I did get a few comments from some of the kids:) I also carved a pumpkin as Snape (this is only my second ever carving, so it's not the best, but I like it) which I'm going to put under the cut. If I were to redo it though, I think I would have shaded the bridge of his nose rather than cut it all out. Oh well. (In case anyone wants to know, I made the pattern myself from a photo in Photoshop.) I also decided to take some photos of myself since I don't really have any good cosplay ones - I'm putting those under the next post and friendslocking them, so if you want to see them you'll have to friend me:)

Well, I made more icons again:) I decided to go ahead and upload them because I'm done making them for tonight. The Tonks one I think is my favorite - with the color effect, it kind of looks like lightning behind her I think.
